These selected photographs are the result of my continued collaboration with Gavin Joynt. Our focus still remains on the quality of luminosity and the creation of space within our works.
We have started to explore film making alongside our photographs, and this has provided us with more options and more subtlety than we first thought.

This is a wonderful short film about ‘The Lost Cuckoo’ project that happened last summer.
It covers the experimental workshops in schools with families, the process myself and 2hD Architects went through to design the cardboard module(box). It also highlights the successful pubic involvement of 1000 people building incredible structures over two days at Whee! Lakeside’s International Children’s Dance and Theatre Festival.
I have just completed working for Nottinghamshire NHS Trust on a really successful ‘in reach’ project at Arnold Lodge, as part of their Arts in Health program.
The patients created very powerful artworks from DNA facial peels to theatre gel illustrations. They were all encouraged to experiment with controlling light through projection and shadow work.
We explored lighting interiors, working with LED lights and using OHP’s to help create very different moods and outcomes.
I have just run a workshop with Trish Evans for the ‘Beyond Words’ conference on behalf of the Arts Award scheme. All the people attended were arts advisor’s looking for ways to explore documentation and evidence without words.
